In Summary

  • Hellen Maria Imokor and Kevin Barry Hurley - a former Scotland Yard Detective - have been embroiled in a vicious child custody battle that began in 2019.

  • Mombasa High Court Judge John Onyienga recently ordered for a shared custody of the six-year-old boy between Imokor and Hurley.

The High Court sitting in Mombasa recently ruled that both Hellen Maria Imokor and her ex-boyfriend, Briton Kevin Barry Hurley, should have shared custody of their six-year-old child.

Imokor and Hurley - a former Scotland Yard Detective - have been embroiled in a vicious child custody battle that began in 2019.

But Imokor is now crying foul. She alleges that ever since Justice John Onyiengo made the ruling two months ago, she has never seen her child.

"The Judge ruled that I as a mother and he as a father have equal custody but since the judgment was pronounced 2 months ago. I have never seen my son," she says.

The lady says that Hurley has been playing cat and mouse game whenever she wants to see the boy.

"I was told my son was hospitalized. I went to the hospital to check on him but the father had instructed the security hospital not to let me in. I am worried I don't know if my son is dead or alive," she adds.
