Head of Seventh-day Adventists church is coming to Kenya

Pastor Ted Wilson, the global head of the Seventh-day Adventists church is coming to Kenya. 

Pastor Wilson, whose official title is "President of the General Conference (GC) of the Seventh-day Adventists", will be at the ASK Show ground in Nakuru County on February 6.

The church says the event is meant to "celebrate the Lord's goodness upon us."

Ted Wilson, an American, was elected head in July 2010. He is married to Nancy Louise Vollmer Wilson, a physical therapist, and they have three daughters and 10 grandchildren.

The Seventh-day Adventists church was introduced in Kenya for the first time in Nyanza in 1906. Worldwide, it has more than 20 million members.
