Odinga’s sons disagree with their fathers

Former premier Raila Odinga is known for his ability to marshal crowds and is a reputable Kenyan political force.

However, according to a detailed report by a Kenyan Daily, Odinga Snr disagreed with his father on his political stance and approach and was not shy of showing it.

When Odinga Senior was 46, he stormed the 1992 Ford Kenya’s National Delegates Conference where his father Jaramogi was making an address.

While Jaramogi Oginga Odinga was making his address, Raila Odinga arrived at the venue of the address at City Stadium accompanied by rowdy youth.

An allegedly jaded Odinga Snr did not agree with the laid-out plan his father Jaramogi had for Ford Kenya’s leadership over which he would move political parties.

Many online users on X have seemingly speculated that history is setting the stage to happen again with Raila Odinga Junior disagreeing with his father Raila Senior.
