Linet Toto: MPs gather for joyful baby shower as countdown begins

Bomet Woman Representative Linet Chepkorir, fondly known as Toto, recently captivated social media with an exquisite gender-neutral baby shower.

As her delivery date draws near, Linet and her fiancé, Nifty Kim, hosted a beautiful celebration.

Further, it brought together politicians from different political divides.

The chic ivory-white and gold-themed ceremony was held in a lush garden, providing a serene backdrop for the joyous event.

Among the distinguished guests were Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo, and Nairobi Woman Rep Esther Passaris.

Kirinyaga’s Njeri Maina, Beatrice Kemei from Kericho, Nakuru’s Liza Chelule, and Bomet Senator Joyce Korir.

The gathering was a testament to Linet’s wide-reaching influence and the respect she commands across the political spectrum.

Photos from the private event showed Linet glowing in a flowing maxi dress, tenderly cradling her baby bump.

Her radiant smile and the love in her eyes spoke volumes about the joy she felt.

Nifty Kim, her supportive fiancé, kept it casual yet stylish.

He wore a white shirt paired with a plaid blazer and khaki trousers.

Instead of the traditional ‘sinendet’ vine worn by Kalenjin athletes for luck and victory.

Linet Toto was adorned with a necklace of KSh 1,000 notes.

Totalling at least KSh 100,000. This thoughtful gesture symbolized not just luck, but also the abundant blessings from her friends and well-wishers.

The couple received an array of baby essentials.

Including a top-of-the-range self-rocking bassinet, ensuring their little one will be welcomed with comfort and care.

Laughter, love, and heartfelt wishes from Kenyans who admired Linet’s beauty and strength filled the event.

Warm wishes for Linet’s safe delivery and anticipation of the new life filled the air

The baby shower was a celebration of love, community, and the bright future ahead.
