The Ministry of Interior has released a list of licensed alcohol manufacturers, pharmacies, chemists and agrovets, in line with the government’s plan to combat alcohol and substance abuse in the country.
The Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki-led ministry says that going forward, the said entities will be subjected to routine audits to help eradicate counterfeit alcoholic drinks and drugs in the communities.
This comes just a day after CS Kindiki announced 25 new strict measures to be used in curbing illicit brew, drug and substance abuse.
