Liverpool drawn to face Brighton as Carabao Cup fourth round matchups revealed

Carabao Cup holders Liverpool will travel to Brighton in the fourth round, while Tottenham are set to host Manchester City in what promises to be a thrilling encounter.

Manchester United will welcome Leicester City to Old Trafford, and Crystal Palace are heading to Aston Villa in the other all-Premier League matchups.

Among the remaining Championship teams, Sheffield Wednesday and Stoke City have tough away ties against Brentford and Southampton, respectively. Preston North End will face a challenging fixture as they host Arsenal at Deepdale.

Meanwhile, AFC Wimbledon, the lowest-ranked side still in the competition, have yet to play their postponed third-round tie against Newcastle United, following flooding at Cherry Records Stadium. The match has been rescheduled for 1 October and will be played at St. James’ Park, with the winner earning the chance to host Chelsea in the fourth round.

The fourth-round ties are scheduled for the week commencing 28 October.
