Veteran Genge rapper Madtraxx, born George Muigai, found himself at the centre of a storm.

His estranged wife, Salma Hussein, took to social media to reveal shocking abuse allegations.

On June 7, Salma shared several photos on Instagram, showing her swollen face, black eye, and bruised hands. Accompanying the distressing images, she wrote a heart-wrenching caption:

“Never have I thought I’ll be beaten in my life… but I married an animal!! Y’all superstar Madtraxx!

My whole life I’ve been battling anxiety, fear, and trauma!! Just because of this guy!! #10 years with a woman abuser!”

Further, she shared photos including a doctor’s report from 2021 and a police OB report, detailing the physical injuries she had suffered over the years.

The doctor’s report described ecchymosis around her left eye, bruising on her upper limbs and knees, a soft tissue injury to her head, and scratch marks on her left leg.

Moreover, these documents suggested that the abuse had been ongoing for a significant period.

Madtraxx, speaking to local media, responded to the allegations by stating that he and Salma had been separated for some time and that he was moving forward with his life and their children.

“None of what she shared is happening right now, I think she’s just hurting because we’re not together. She’s in the past. The kids and I are moving forward. Kwanza ame abandon watoi,” he said.

Unfortunately, the shocking allegations come just six months after the couple celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary.

Marriage life

The former Kansoul member and Salma tied the knot in a lavish private ceremony in 2018, attended by close family and friends, including their two daughters.

In December, Madtraxx posted a loving tribute to his wife, stating, “Happy Anniversary to us My Love! 5 years is such a Blessing. I love having you as my Queen through this journey. Love you.”
