Malia Obama: Makes red carpet appearance for her short film

Malia Obama, eldest daughter of former President Barack and Michelle Obama stepped onto the red carpet for the first time.

This was at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah.

The 25-year-old was dressed in a long grey coat, a blue-striped button-down, and black leggings.

The event marked the premiere of her debut directorial project.

The Heart is a short film that delves into the story of a grieving son confronted with an unusual request in his mother’s will.

Obama’s daughter speaks up

She expressed her hope that the audience would find solace in the film.

Donald Glover, whose company Gilga produced The Heart, spoke highly of Malia ahead of the film’s premiere, Praising her writing style and predicting a promising future for her.
