A man has stabbed his twenty-year-old girlfriend to death during a fight in Biafra slums in Nairobi County.
Serah Ndunge Musyoki was found in critical condition in her house on Sunday, January 28th with chest stab wounds long after the incident had happened.
She was rushed to Mother and Child Hospital along Yusuf Haji Avenue where she succumbed while undergoing treatment.
The suspect, who is known by the family fled the scene moments after he allegedly committed the crime.
The reason for the killing is still unknown.
According to police report, the two were the only ones in her house at the time of the incident.
The police have launched a manhunt for the suspect who is still at large.
The body has since been transferred to the mortuary pending autopsy.
This is one of the incidences of femicides this month, as the trend has been worrying.

‘Feminists March Against Femicide’ takes route in Nairobi, Kenya
On Saturday the 27th January 2024, women and feminists in Kenya took to the streets to protest against the rise of femicide in the country.
The crowd, mostly women marched the streets raising awareness on the sensitive issue at hand.
They also blamed Nairobi County women representative Esther Passaris for staying silent during this tough time.
Angry protesters ranted at her forcing her to leave the crowd.
