Police have arrested two suspects believed to be behind the gruesome murder of Tanzanian businessman Gerald Raphael Ramale in Eastleigh.
Dennis Abiola alias Wolfan and his girlfriend Christine Moraa were arrested by detectives from the DCI headquarters at Entarara-Loitoktok area, on the border of Kenya and Tanzania.
The body of Ramele was found lying in a pool of blood in his house in Eastleigh12th Street, 2nd Avenue on March 24, 2024 night.
His nephew says that his uncle failed to respond to his calls, which prompted him to visit his house, only to find his body. He then informed the police.
“He had been stabbed multiple times by the suspects, who stole his two mobile phones, a Samsung Galaxy S10 and Oppo Reno 8T,” the DCI reports.
“Detectives traced the elusive culprits to their Loitoktok hideout, ultimately apprehending them and recovering the deceased’s phones,” the DCI adds.
The suspects have since been arraigned and custodial orders granted to the police until July 7 when the case will be mentioned.
