A man has attracted global attention for fathering over a thousand children by deceiving countless women and couples.
The man has donated his sperm to multiple sperm banks claiming his donation was exclusive at any given point in time to the specific sperm bank.
Ironically, he initially claimed he only intended to donate sperm to a few families, but it soon became clear he had lied to many of them.
Owing to the realization of multiple women and families that their children conceived from the sperm banks, an alarm was raised.
After several attempts to confirm the unthinkable, the families realized the obvious and the story caught the attention of Netflix producers.

In a twist of events, Jonathan crossed multiple countries and continents donating his seed to unsuspecting women and couples
Besides donating to 11 sperm banks in the Netherlands, he has been donating sperm globally making it uncertain on the number of children he has sired.
Speaking to parents and people who knew him, it seems like it almost became an addiction for Jonathan.
The call for Jonathan’s accountability begins when one parent of a child conceived with Meijer’s help discovers numerous half-siblings in town.

Legal action against Jonathan
According to investigations, Jonathan worked directly with families and donated to other banks, violating the limits set for donations.
Parents have come forward grappling with the repercussions of Jonathan’s actions and have partnered up with lawyers and activists to bring him to book.
According to one of the mothers, Children who haven’t been brought up together are more likely to be attracted to each other due to familiarity.
In a detrimental turn, this attraction can lead to romantic love, known as the “Luke and Leia complex,”.
Clinical professionals explain that limits on sperm donation exist to protect resulting children from consanguineous relationships, or unwitting incest.
It is unclear what will be the next step toward bringing Jonathan to book but the parents and the children in the triangle are bracing themselves for the number to get bigger.
