Man who allegedly beheaded wife for taking long to prepare tea arrested

Dharamveer, in Faljagadh, India, a 52-year-old man finds himself in police custody under grave accusations.

The alleged crime: beheading his wife due to impatience over the preparation time of his morning tea.

The seemingly innocent exchange triggered an alarming response in Dharamveer.

Enraged, he descended the stairs to retrieve a sword.

As Sundari attended to the brewing tea, Dharamveer reportedly stabbed her from behind, initiating a struggle that disrupted the quiet morning.

The commotion stirred their four children from sleep.

The children, alarmed by their mother’s cries, rushed to the terrace in an attempt to intervene.

However, Dharamveer, wielding the sword, repelled them with threatening gestures.

Forcing them to retreat to their room in fear, as recounted by police superintendent Vivek Yadav to The Times of India.

The horrifying attack continued with Dharamveer allegedly stabbing Sundari around 15 times before decapitating her.

The couple’s son, Soldier, disclosed that while his parents often quarrelled over tea, he had never witnessed his father being violent with Sundari.

In a state of shock, Soldier and the other children discovered Sundari’s lifeless body on the terrace, wounds oozing blood.

Dharamveer, found weeping beside the body, was promptly arrested by the police and taken into custody.

The tragic turn of events leaves Sundari’s body awaiting autopsy as authorities delve into the grim details of this shocking crime.
