Manchester United has confirmed to have banned four media houses for what the club says is the publishing of stories without a chance to ‘comment, challenge or contextualize’

Journalists for Sky Sports, Manchester Evening News, ESPN and The Mirror were denied entry into United boss Erik Ten Hag’s presser before the Chelsea clash, this is for publishing In their respective outlets on Monday that Manchester United Stars losing faith in Ten Hag.

Manchester United Communications director Andrew Ward who instituted the banned in place said :

“It happens not for publishing stories we don’t like but for doing so without first contacting us to allow us to comment, challenge or contextualize”.

‘We believe this is an important principle to defend and we hope it can lead to a re-set in the way we work together,’ the club added

However, it is not clear whether the ban was just for today’s press conference or it is until further notice.

The manager has gone ahead to dispute the notion that the team or club is divided stating that if there were any divisions then the team would not have played as they have lately.

“[We have] showed great character, great determination and resilience.

“We are together and you can see, you can’t play such great football as we did lately if there is no unity.” stated Ten Hag.
