Manzi wa Kibera “feels sorry” for her ex who sold everything to ‘spoil’ her

Kenyan socialite Manzi wa Kibera (real name Sharon Wambui) has expressed sympathy towards her 67-year-old ex who is struggling financially.

Speaking in a local interview, Manze wa Kibera said she was saddened by his current state after photos of the man in Kibera slums emerged.

There was a hint of bitterness in her words however, as she recalled him flirting with other young ladies while they were in a relationship.

“I feel really sorry for the old man, and in this stormy time, I stand with him. But those DMs he used to respond to, I’m surprised, I thought he would find another beautiful lady, but if he has decided to come and cry, and I think he left me with a heavy heart, what else can I say, I just pity him,” she began.

Manzi wa Kibera went on to claim that she was unaware he sold off assets to fund their lavish lifestyle.

“To be honest, I didn’t know that the old man was selling his belongings to take care of me, and I feel sorry for him, I pray for good things for him, I feel bad about those stories, but at the same time, I am happy with my new partner.”

When asked whether she would reach out and help the elderly man, Manzi wa Kibera declared she was reluctant to assist him financially.

“I will stand with him through prayers. I will support him through prayers only, and if it’s money, maybe just five thousand, we will see,” the socialite added.

This comes barely two weeks after Manzi wa Kibera introduced her new 75-year-old boyfriend Daniel Njau on social media.

“Nimepata new catch. Huyu sasa ndo nimechagua 2024 and I hope mtampenda na mumkaribishe pia. Nimeridhika.

(I have a new catch. He is the one I have chosen in 2024 and I hope you will love and welcome him too. I am satisfied),” she wrote.
