Does God approve of single people?

Franklin emphasized that being single does not diminish one’s value or purpose in God’s plan.

He challenged the widespread belief that marriage is essential for spiritual significance, noting how damaging and superficial these messages can be.

He expressed concern over how churches today push people into marriage prematurely, under the belief that it is a prerequisite for serving in ministry.

“You can be single and be used by God,” Franklin stated, underscoring that marriage is not a prerequisite for God’s work in one’s life.

He criticized the church’s tendency to elevate marriage as the ultimate goal, only to judge harshly when those same marriages fail.
