Mason Greenwood has been offered a £192,000 (KSh35 million) a week salary to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Ettifaq.
The 21-year-old is set to officially part ways with Manchester United in the coming days after he mutually agreed to leave the Old Trafford based club on Monday this week.
Should he opt to move to Asia, Greenwood would join former Liverpool Captains; Steven Gerrard who is the current manager of the club and Jordan Henderson who earns £700,000 (KSh128 million) per week.
Furthermore, the SUN reports that Greenwood is also set to receive an offer from Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma and Turkish Giants Galatasaray.
According to the report, Mourinho rang Mason’s dad and also spoke with Mason during his exile days at Manchester where he told him that the best way for him was to play football.
“He told him the best way out of his current situation is to start playing football and that eventually all the hassle will fade away. Mason was pleased that he got in touch and it has lifted his spirits.
“He wants to get back playing and is just waiting for United to tell him what the future holds,” the report says.
