Maybets donates wheelchairs, beds and gift hampers to new mothers at Emuhaya Sub-County Hospital

Emuhaya Sub-County Hospital in Vihiga County has received a major boost after Maybets company donated a range of equipment including ten hospital beds to equip the facility’s maternity wing, alongside wheelchairs to aid movements for patients within the hospital.

Additionally, new mothers at the facility received gift hampers entailing diapers alongside a fruit basket.

Speaking during the handover of the equipment, Maybets CEO Aggrey Sayi stated that the move is part of ongoing nationwide initiatives aimed at improving lives within communities.

Sayi stressed on Maybets’ commitment to improving healthcare, sports as well as heightening road safety campaigns.

The Chief Officer in the Department of Health in Vihiga, Mary Anyienda, lauded Maybets for the warm gesture, adding that Emuhaya Sub-County Hospital is in need of more equipment in order to boost services.

Noel Khatika, who represented health care workers, stated that the donation will help improve maternal care at the hospital.

In Vihiga County, Maybets has also been lauded for nurturing sports, as the company has continued supporting Luanda Villa Soccer team.
