Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappe was on target for France in their 3-0 win against Luxembourg in the international friendly fixture played at the Stade Saint-Symphorien.
The Former PSG forward netted in the 85th minute to crown the night for Les Bleus after assisting in the first two goals
Mbappe first set up Randal Kolo Muani for the game’s opener in the 42nd minute when he breezed past two defenders before delivering a tailor-measured cross.
He later teed up Jonathan Clauss in the 72nd minute, who unleashed an unstoppable pile driver from the edge of the box to put the game beyond the hapless visitors.
Mbappe, playing his first game since securing his dream move to Real Madrid earlier this week, set the tone for Didier Deschamps’ charges as he tormented the opposition defence from the blast of the whistle.
After Scoring the 3rd and last goal of the night Mbappe lifted his Jersey to send a heartwarming message to a dear family member named Alex, who recently passed away.
The inner shirt displays a photo of his deceased uncle with a thoughtful caption while pointing to the heavens as part of his celebration in honour of his family member.
According to the Frenchman’s recent Instagram story, he seems to have shared a tight bond with his Uncle.
“Rest in peace, Uncle Alex. It’s hard to find the words to say how much you left us too soon and will be missed. Life will never be the same without you. Your family will be taken care of, you can be sure of that. May God open the doors of heaven for you.” Posted the 26-year-old on his Instagram.
