Mbaruk Mwalimu: If you have my child, bring it before I become rich

Radio 47’s drive show host Mbaruk Mwalimu celebrated his 29th birthday on Tuesday.

In his post-birthday message on his Facebook page, he revealed unknown facts about himself.

“A day after my birthday, I want to take a moment to reflect and address some of the questions many of you have asked,” said Mbaruk.

Mbaruk on his riches

Mbaruk told his fans that he is not rich contrary to popular opinion.

“I’m just a hustler, a village boy with big dreams. What I have now is not even close to a quarter of what I aspire to achieve.”

He maintained that he does not have a godfather in the industry accrediting his success to God.

He attributes professional success to God

 “Who connected me to the job I’m currently doing?” He wrote.

“I have to say it’s a testament to the faith I have in my God. I don’t have a godfather in the industry.”

“I have God the father guiding me. I have been poached three times in just six years and I believe it can only be by the grace of God,” noted Mbaruk.

“Thank you bosses.”

He mentioned some of the bosses he has worked under thanking them for believing in him.

“I have also been fortunate to have people who believed in me along the way.”

“They include Keeru Maina, Janet Kilalo, Joseph Akwiri, Titi Nagwala, Lynda Oriaso, Geoffery Mongou and others, bless them for their support.”

On marrying a second wife

Upon being asked whether he would marry a second wife, Mbaruk said he has no such plans.

“Handling one wife is a challenge in itself, with the attention, financial responsibilities and emotional connection that come with it.”

He went ahead and praised his wife saying that she is a four in one woman.

“I believe I have chosen a ‘four in one woman’- beautiful, intellectual, spiritual and most importantly a mother I’m comfortable raising my children with.”

“The 80% of the my children’s smartness, they will certainly inherit from her maanake akili zangu nazijua mwenyewe,” jested Mbaruk.

I have one child

Mbaruk also insisted that he has one child he however urged anyone who has his child to inform him early before he gets rich.

“I am not aware of any other children apart from Muhsin but if there is someone with my child, they should come forward before I become rich.”
