Menengai Oilers to take on Strathmore Leos as Kenya Cup enters gameweek two

The 2024/2025 Kenya Cup season will enter its matchday two this Saturday 30th November 2024 with six matches scheduled in different venues countrywide.

Menengai Oilers will travel to Nairobi to play against Strathmore Leos at Strathmore University.

The Oilmen will be looking to extend their fine from matchday one when they beat Kisumu RFC 76-13.

Newly promoted side South Coast Pirates will welcome holders Kabras RFC in a match at the Seacrest grounds in Diani.

At the Nakuru Athletic Club, a thrilling encounter awaits. Nakuru RFC will battle it out with Kenya Harlequin, while Mwamba RFC will clash against Nondescript RFC in a yet-to-be-confirmed venue.

Former Kenya Cup champions KCB Rugby will be in Kisumu County to play against Kisumu RFC at the Kisumu Polytechnic grounds.

Campus side Blak Blad will host Impala RFC at the Kenyatta University grounds.

All the matches are set to begin at 3:00 p.m. except the match between Nakuru RFC and Quins, which will start at 4:00 p.m.

KCB rugby sit top of the Kenya Cup with 5 points after handing newbies South Coast Pirates a rude welcome to the top tier league by beating them 88-05.

Menengai Oilers, Kenya Harlequin, Kabras and Blak Blad are placed second, third, fourth and fifth respectively with 5 points each after picking wins on matchday one.

Nondescript is sixth with four points after failing to pick a bonus point on matchday one where they managed a 22-16 win over Strathmore Leos.

Nakuru RFC, Impala, Mwamba, Kisumu RFC and South coast Pirates find themselves in the 7th, 8th, 9th, tenth and twelfth positions respectively after failing to register a win on matchday one.
