Marini Naturals CEO Michelle Ntalami has taken a bold step in her spiritual journey, publicly sharing a deeply personal transformation.
In an emotional video, the renowned entrepreneur and content creator revealed that she had destroyed several cherished possessions, declaring them as ‘altars’ that did not honour God.
Among the items she disposed of were jewelry linked to astrology, drinking games, novels with explicit content, and a decorative mask she had picked up at a Mardi Gras carnival in Europe.
Each item, she explained, symbolized ties to a past life she no longer wished to be part of.
“God led me to burn and tear down altars of things and items that were either displeasing to Him, or I had unknowingly made idols in my life,” Ntalami stated passionately.
She emphasized that such possessions often become subtle strongholds, keeping individuals spiritually bound.
Earlier this year, Ntalami announced that she had fully surrendered her life to Christ, choosing to forsake what she described as a life of sin.
Her latest move is a continuation of that commitment, one she hopes will inspire others to reflect on their own lives.
“We unknowingly create worldly gods, altars, and covenants from things, habits, places, and even people,” she wrote.
“The more we honour these altars, the more they keep us troubled and bound. You cannot serve both God and worldly pursuits.”
In her candid confession, Ntalami listed other items she felt compelled to discard, including horoscopes, astrology-related stones,
Sentimental keepsakes from past relationships, and even certain social media platforms.
Her decision sparked mixed reactions online, with many applauding her courage and transparency, while others questioned the drastic measures.
However, Ntalami remained steadfast in her conviction, saying she feels free and at peace after letting go.
Through her vulnerability, Ntalami hopes her journey will encourage others to evaluate the things they hold onto and whether those align with their faith and purpose.
Her story is not just one of renunciation but of renewal—a powerful testament to the lengths one can go to honor their spiritual path.
