Police have launched investigations over the murder of a 42-year-old businesswoman in her house at Chamgiwadu Trading Centre in Rongo Sub County, Migori County.

This was after Elizabeth’s body was discovered in a pool of blood, by her relatives on May 12, 2024.

Confirming the incident, chief Maurice Ayieko of South West location explained that Elizabeth’s body had stab wounds around the neck.

So far, no suspect has been arrested in connection to the murder but police are still investigating the incident.

The chief also added that the suspects involved in the murder are yet to be known.

A similar incident happened a few days ago, where a watchman was also killed in Rongo town at night, and several school items stolen from Rongo Primary School.
