American singer-songwriter and actress Miley Cyrus earned her first Grammy Award for best solo Pop Performance yesterday 4th February 2024.
Miley Cyrus celebrated the award by giving a thrilling performance for her song ‘flowers’, from her 2023 album, Endless Summer Vacation.
The song won over songs from Doja Cat’s Paint the Town Red, Olivia Rodrigo-Vampire, Billie Ellish- What was i made for?, and Taylor swift- Anti Hero.

“I just won my first Grammy!” The popstar sang mid performance.
Miley Cyrus being in the music industry for years has had eight Grammy nominations but has never won a Grammy.
Last night she got two Grammy awards.

Mariah Carey presented her with the trophy.
“Oh my god I just got stuck in the rain in traffic and thought I was going to miss this moment. I could miss the award but I can’t miss Mariah Carey. ”She said in her acceptance speech.
Miley Cyrus got five other nominations at the 2024 Grammys: Album of the Year -Endless Summer Vacation, Record of the Year (“Flowers”), Song of the Year (“Flowers”), Best Pop Vocal Album (Endless Summer Vacation), Best Pop Duo/Group Performance (“Thousand Miles” with Brandi Carlile).
