Google has revealed its Year in Search 2023 lists for Kenya, offering a glimpse into the interests that captured Kenyans throughout the year.
According to the search engine giant’s report, Millicent Omanga, a prominent Kenyan businesswoman and politician, clinched the top spot as the most searched Kenyan in 2023.

The former senator became the most trending local personality after an intimate video of a woman surfaced on social media, with some users speculating that the person in the undated video was her.
Pastor Ezekiel Odero, a Kenyan televangelist and founder of the New Life Prayer Centre and Church secured the second position due to his connection with suspected cult leader Pastor Mackenzie Nthenge.
DJ Fatxo, a musician, secured the third position amidst investigations linked to the unfortunate death of his friend Jeff Mwathi.
Mwathi died after falling off the apartment where Fatxo lived, triggering an investigation that saw his body exhumed following public outcry. Ultimately, he was cleared of all charges.

Digital content producer Georgina Njenga, claimed the fourth position after her intimate photos leaked online.
Renowned middle-distance runner and three-time world record holder, Faith Kipyegon, emerged at number six on the list.
