Harambee Stars coach Engin Firat on March 3, 2024 promised to resolve the issue of unpaid allowances for some players in the Kenyan team.

Speaking during an interview on Radio 47 Mikiki Ya Spoti, Firat addressed the pressing issue of unpaid allowances for players following their participation in the World Cup qualifiers.

Players Dennis Ng’anga, Benson Omalla, and Johnstone Omurwa are yet to receive their dues, prompting concerns over their motivation and well-being.

Firat acknowledged the problem, emphasizing that while the responsibility ultimately lies with the Ministry, the Federation must take swift action to resolve the issue.
