Monica Kimani murder judgement pushed to March after Maribe illness

Former TV Siren Jackie Maribe will know her fate in her suspected involvement in the Mysterious brutal murder of 28-year-old business woman Monica Kimani late on, in March.

Maribe’s Judgement was postponed after her lawyer Katwa Kigen who told the court that his client was “gravely indisposed.”

Justice Grace Nzioka adjourned the judgment that was to be delivered on Friday to March 15 2024 following the development.

“There’s no provision for virtual today and if you tell me you’re unwell, I don’t know where you are. The integrity of the court proceedings must be observed. I would rather have an open court appearance,” she explained.

“When do we deliver this judgment? I have looked at my diary. The court is not available for the whole of January and February.

“I have taken time off the course from February 8 to March 8, 2024, to write judgments. I am willing to say that all parties are to be available for March 15, 2024. I will need adequate time to deliver this judgment,” she added. 

The prosecution however did not object to the ruling.

This is the third time the Judgment has been postponed following the conclusion of the case in July 2022.

Jackie Maribe and her EX-lover Jowie Irunga are the Primary Suspect in the Murder of Miss Kimani which happened at her Lamuria Garden apartment on the night of September 19 2018 following her arrivial from South Sudan.
