Kenyan artist Mordecai Mwini has signed a three year deal with Sol Generation Publishing.
After 12 years of leading the trio of H_Art the band, Mordecai Mwini alias Dex has quitted.
Mordecai was the cofounding member of the music group.
The band has been known for producing major hits such as El Shaddai and My Jaber.
Mordecai formed the band in 2012 after he had met with the duo at the Kenya National Theatre.
The trio consited of him as the lead vocalist, Wachira Gatama and Kenneth Muya as other members respectively.

Mordecai is also a singer and a songwriter in the Kenyan music industry.
Sol Generation took to Instagram after signing the deal with the music star.
“Welcome to the family… Kenyan singer songwriter and producer Mordecai ‘Dex’ Mwini has officially joined Sol generation Publishing, on a 3 year deal,” Sol Generation posted.

Mordecai is known for being a poet, painter, fashion enthusiast, a professional guitarist and over time has become a skilled music producer.
His fans across social media had earlier hinted of a possible venture with Sol Generation.
Wachira Gatama who has been known for a profounding loud bass hasn’t commented on the matter.
This has left members of the public wondering whether there was some sort of differences within the group.
The multi-award winning band has performed in various concerts together but it has not released a song lately.
The last song, ‘Never Lost’ was released in October 2023.
