Mulamwah mourns the loss of his mother

Comedian and content creator David Oyando, also known as Mulamwah, is mourning the death of his stepmother, who passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024.

She died during surgery at a hospital in Kitale, Trans Nzoia County. Mulamwah, who lost his biological mother when he was young, shared his pain in a heartfelt message.

In his tribute, he expressed how much his stepmother meant to him. He said she raised him as her own and played a big role in his life.

“R.I.P MUM. She always raised me as her own. We lost her on the operating table while she was being operated on after a short illness,” Mulamwah wrote.

The comedian also shared that her burial will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at their family home in Kitale, near Bikeke Health Centre.


He asked his followers for prayers during this difficult time. “Burial will be on Saturday, October 19, in our Kitale home. Keep us in your prayers at this time of need,” he added.

Mulamwah’s wife, Ruth K, showed her support by sending him a comforting message. She assured him of her presence and strength as they go through this painful moment together. “May her soul rest peacefully. We are together in this, babe. Continue being strong as you have always been,” she wrote.
