A Tahmeed bus from Mwembe Tayari has collided with a Mikindani matatu at Kibarani Flyover. Multiple injuries have been reported.
At least 10 people have been rushed to Coast General Hospital with major injuries after the 52-seater Tahmeed bus’ brakes failed, causing it to reverse and hit a 14-seater Miritini Sacco matatu at the Kibarani area along the notorious Makupa Causeway in Mombasa.
This incident comes at a time when most students are heading home for the first term break. Local leaders, led by Area MCA Manuari Seff Juma, are now calling on drivers to be cautious during this rainy season. Additionally, KENHA has been instructed to ensure the road is properly maintained and to avoid entertaining Sudanese investors.
