Mwashetani officially assumes office as NTSA Board chairperson

Khatib Mwashetani on Wednesday, April 4 officially took over as the new non-executive chairperson of the Board of Directors the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA).

The former Lungalunga MP has re-assured the public on the Authority’s commitment to work with all relevant stakeholders to ensure services are effectively delivered to mwananchi.

He applauded the NTSA management and the staff for the good work in ensuring that the public is well served across the country.

Mwashetani also assured Kenyans that the road safety agency will do what is within its mandate to reduce road carnage.

He spoke in Nairobi at NTSA head office where he officially assumed office following his appointment by President William Ruto last week.

He was received by NTSA Director General George Njao and the head of Corporate Support Services at the Authority, Jacob Sisey.
