Lawyer Peter Wanyama stirred up a variety of responses among netizens.
He took on the task of washing clothes for his family, allowing his wife to rest.
The touching gesture took place just two weeks after the couple had to lay their baby to rest, following the wife’s Caesarean Section procedure.
Further, he added he does this to exemplify his leadership in the family.

Hailing from Nairobi, the well-known lawyer’s actions resonated and made women praise him.
He divulged that when he is at their rural home with the children he always does laundry.
Wanyama believes men are just as capable of handling these responsibilities, saying, “Men can do it better.”
However, this time, Wanyama had a more profound reason for his domestic assistance.

He shared, “When my wife is unable to manage the household tasks, and our househelp is unavailable for any reason.
I step in to do the housework because I am the leader of our home.”
Leading by example
The lawyer stated, “Helping out at home is showing leadership through action; I’m not a male chauvinist.”
Even though society often frowns upon men engaging in household chores, Wanyama remains undeterred.
He asserted, “I ignore them; we are not living in a chauvinistic society.
In the big hotels, men are the best cooks and chefs. That’s a stereotype; we must change those stereotypes.
We must provide strategic leadership in society.” The lawyer further mentioned his proficiency in cooking and shopping, emphasizing his knack for selecting the finest vegetables in the market.
