Naivas supermarket has opened its 110th store at Tatu City, Ruiru in a bid to continue expanding its market share and base across the country.
Naivas has continued to rubber stamp its muscle in the retail business despite competition from other local chain stores in the country.
Chief of strategy at Naivas Andreas Von Paleske says Naivas brand continues to provide solutions to its clients as well as impact the economy through creation of employment as well as empowering small, medium-sized retailers and suppliers.
Andreas says Naivas will continue to provide value for money to its clients through discounts and also price cautious commodities as a way to encourage their customers during this tough economic time being witnessed in the country.
Wambui Mbarire from the Retail Trade Association of Kenya has called on the need for creation of a better and safe business space for local businesses.
Mbarire says such initiatives by the government will help boost entrepreneurial culture due to a favorable business environment.
The new Naivas branch targets to capture the Tatu City community but is also open to outsiders who will be required to observe laid down rules and regulations that govern the Tatu City gated community.
