Narok: More than 100 families rendered homeless after mudslides hit village

More than 100 families in Esongoroi village in Sogoo, Narok South, have been rendered homeless following multiple mudslides occasioned by heavy rains.

Reports indicate that the area experienced multiple mudslides on Thursday and Friday.

Fortunately, there are no casualties even as the families have been compelled to move to nearby safer churches and homesteads. The Narok South security team is currently coordinating the exercise.

Residents have been urged to remain vigilant as more rainfall continue to ponder the area.
