It is a big sigh of relief after the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) on Thursday announced a decrease in fuel prices in the country.
In the latest EPRA review, the prices of petrol and diesel have decreased by KSh5 per litre, while that of kerosene has fallen by KSh7.28 per litre.
This now means that super petrol and diesel will be retailing at KSh129.72 and KSh110.6 per litre respectively in Nairobi effective midnight Friday. Kerosene will be retailing at KSh103.54 per litre in Nairobi.
Reduced fuel prices come despite an increase in the landed costs for importing super petrol and diesel.
