Rhumba maestro Koffi Olomide releases emotional song in honour of late mum

Legendary Congolese musician Koffi Olomide has released a new song in honour of his late mum.
The Rhumba maestro says that the song, which comes three weeks after the sudden demise of Aminata Angélique Muyonge, is "a tribute to Mama Amy from all her children".
"The clip in tribute to Mama Amy is available onYouTube...All your children say thank you, Rest in peace Mom," says Le Grand Mopao.
The song entitled Mama Amy contains videos of the final send-off of Olomide's mum, the last mass in the church as well as the graveyard.
In the somber song, Koffi Olomide and family are seen to be overcome by emotions, bursting into tears.

"To you the flowers, to us the tears. Mom this October 3rd God decided you go find Dad I give thanks to God Mom… so much I love you, in me you will always and forever…Rest in peace Mama Amy,” Koffi Olomide announced on October 3 on his Facebook page.
A teary and emotional Koffi then posted a video eulogising his mother. The musician said that “life has no flavour anymore” after the death of his mom.
