Man found guilty of arranging the killing of heavily pregnant girlfriend

On June 4, 2020, a heavily pregnant Pule's body was found hanging from a tree with a gunshot wound on the chest.

The latest development means Shoba now faces one count of murder, alternatively conspiracy to commit murder, and two counts of defeating the ends of justice.

His sentencing will be in May this year. 10.

Pule's death attracted online uproar in South Africa leading to the #JusticeForTshego tag on Twitter that went viral for a whole week.

South African President, Cyril Ramaphosa condemned the incident saying "violent men are taking advantage of the eased restrictions on movement to attack women and children".
