"It's my birthright," PS Kibicho tells off Ruto allies accusing him of engaging in Kirinyaga politics

Interior PS Karanja Kibicho has dismissed UDA politicians from Kirinyaga County who have been accusing him of micromanaging and engaging in local politics.
PS Kibicho said that he is an interested party in Kirinyaga because it is where he was born and thus he has to ensure that the county gets the right leadership that will help the society.
Speaking after hosting Jubilee Party aspirants from Kirinyaga on Friday, Kibicho said that all his relatives and his business investments are in the county and thus his serious interest.
The PS wondered why the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) aspirants are directing their salvos at him after being arrested for various offences instead of answering to their crimes.
“Show me one person who has stood and said I am intimidating him, that I am sending KRA and the police, how powerful is Kibicho that even KRA answers to him?” Kibicho posed.
Kibicho: Remit your taxes
Kibicho asked those who have not been remitting their taxes to do so without involving him, adding that all government agencies do not stop working just because there is an election.
During the Jubilee party aspirants meeting, county chairman Muriithi Kang’ara welcomed over 80 defectors from other parties saying that the party will be a force to reckon with during the August 9 General Election.
Muriithi has also taken a swipe at leaders who are insulting founding First Lady Ngina Kenyatta, saying that politics should not be personalized.
“We will not do like the people of Kiambu, especially Gatundu, it is very shameful that you are hosting politicians to come and insult the President and his family,” he said.
On his part, Kirinyaga Deputy Governor Peter Ndambiri said that the Jubilee caravan is ready to roar and meet with its competitors at the grassroots.
Ndambiri said that they have been working to revive the party which has been busy working, saying that a time has come for the people to decide on their future which is Jubilee.
