Late Kibaki digital condolence book unveiled

The planning committee for the burial of late former President Mwai Kibaki has unveiled a new website through which Kenyans can send their condolences.
The website https://mwaikibaki.go.ke/ was announced by State House on Tuesday evening.
"Please use the link above to pass your message of condolences," said the statement from State House.
The website features the Presidential announcement on the passing on of Kibaki -as delivered by President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday April 22- and tributes from Tanzania's president Samia Suluhu Hassan, and Deputy President William Ruto.
It also features a repository of images and articles that tell the story of Kibaki's life in three phases: Early life, political career and presidency.
Kibaki, who is lying in State, died at the ripe age of 90 years. He will be buried at his rural home in Othaya, Nyeri County on Saturday April 30.
There shall be a State Funeral on April 29, a day that has been gazetted as a public holiday to enable Kenyans bid their final farewell.
