The tension inside the auditorium is high at the moment with party agents for both main contenders, Kenya Kwanza and Azimio la Umoja, being involved in an exchange of words.
Calm has since been restored after officers moved in quickly to calm the situation and now GSU police in anti-riot gear are stationed at the auditorium to maintain security.
Stakeholders have requested that all forms (Form 34A and 34B) be scanned by a UV light to ensure authenticity as the forms have unique security features.
IEBC chair Wafula Chebukati had earlier cautioned the agents and everyone involved that if anyone disrupts the verification process, they would be kicked out.
The police have also set up a police station to maintain security.
