"Stop the lamentations!" Raila tells off Ruto, Kenya Kwanza as he leaves the country

Opposition leader Raila Odinga now wants President William Ruto to start working on the promises he gave Kenyans during the August 9 2022 General Election campaigns.
The ODM Party leader is faulting President Ruto and his Kenya Kwanza brigade of failing on their mandate and spending most time on blame games, yet they are the government.
He was responding to Ruto's rallying call during a thanksgiving ceremony at Kericho Green Stadium on Sunday, October 16, in which he told off the opposition and urged Kenyans to give his administration time to fix the economy.
"The economy was dying. We have huge debts. Agriculture was at its worst. Insecurity was on the rise. Those we competed with should wait. They should give us the chance to fix the country where they destroyed," President Ruto said.
But in a rejoinder, Raila Tweeted, "...can William Ruto & Kenya Kwanza stop it with the lamentations?"
Meanwhile, Raila left the country on Sunday, October 17 for a week's visit to several countries starting with India.
His communications director Dennis Onyango says while in India, Raila will attend to personal matters before having official engagement with business leaders in his capacity as African Union (AU) High Representative for Infrastructure Development.
