Police in Lari Constituency, Kiambu County, are trailing more than 15 suspects believed to be part of the gangs that have been reigning terror on residents in the recent past.

Security agencies say that Kimende town is the worst hit with cases of insecurity. 

On Monday, October 7, Kimende residents woke up to shocking news of the muder of a middle-aged man whose body was dumped in a culvert on the Nairobi-Nakuru Highway. He had injuries on his face while his hands were broken.

Confirming the incident, Kijabe Location Senior Chief Njoroge Mungai urged the residents to remain calm for they have already forwarded the names of suspects to the law enforcers.

Residents are now calling upon authorities to ensure police patrols in the area to curb the situation.
