Furious Miguna calls for investigation against Jugde who reportedly dropped his 4 cases against Matiang'i, Kibicho

- Miguna Miguna calls for investigations against Justice Meoli for dropping his four cases against Fred Matiang'i, Karanja Kibicho, and others
Lawyer Miguna Miguna has called for immediate investigations on the judge who reportedly dropped his four cases against Fred Matiang'i, Karanja Kibicho and other state officials during former President Uhuru Kenyatta's administration.
The vocal lawyer accuses a judge of dropping the said cases six days before his return to Kenya without informing him.
"Who is Justice C. Meoli? On whose ORDERS did she dismiss 4 of my cases against Fred Matiang’i, Kibicho & Others on 14 October 2022 - 6 days before my return to Kenya - without notice to me instead of rendering judgment against the defendants who hadn’t defended?
"Justice C. Meoli must be investigated for surreptitiously presiding over multiple cases against state perpetrators of impunity and other apologists in secret and without notice to me," Miguna says.
The lawyer further says that he has instructed his advocates to reinstate the cases and pursue necessary legal actions against the judge.
"I have instructed advocates to reinstate the cases and pursue action against the judge. The rules of the Court and common practice around the world don't permit a single judge to preside over and determine more than one case in one sitting, yet Justice C. Meoli purported to dismiss more than 4 cases I had filed against various parties at one sitting without notice," he adds.
In June this year, Miguna filed a suit against the then Interior CS Fred Matiang'i and Interior PS Karanja Kibicho seeking at least KSh1.76 billion in compensation for his deportation in 2018.
