Police rescue two robbery suspects from being burnt alive in Kisumu; stolen items recovered

Police officers in Manyatta Metameta area of Kisumu County have rescued two housebreaking and stealing suspects from mob justice.

The two had sustained serious burns after being set ablaze by the members of the public.

They were found with an assortment of household equipment and electronics including 84 mobile phones, 4 iPads, a DSTV decoder, 1 KPLC meter, 3 gas cylinders, 2 TV sets, a woofer, a laptop among other items.

Meanwhile, police have launched a manhunt operation for the third suspect who escape the wrath of the angry Kenyans.

Police have now urged the public not to take the law into their hands, and instead present arrested suspects to police for further action.
