CS Namwamba visits Catherine Kasavuli at KNH: "Let's do coffee, once I'm out of here"

Sports and Art Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba on Saturday, December 3 visited the legendary TV anchor Catherine Kasavuli at Kenyatta National Hospital.
Namwamba paid a glowing tribute to Kasavuli and said a prayer with her at the KNH where she is recuperating after being hospitalised with cervical cancer.
According to the CS, Kasavuli holds the crown as the first female TV anchor in Kenya, breaking the ceiling and inspiring generations of female anchors.
"You have inspired a generation of great female anchors. Your influence on our female journalists can never be matched. May God give you healing, so that you can continue to mentor our girls."
"During her glittering career, Legend Kasavuli graced our TV screens as an anchor in most of Kenya's leading television stations," CS Namwamba says.
Kasavuli and Namwamba agreed to fo coffee once she is out of hospital.
Kasavuli began her career as a radio continuity announcer in 1980 at the Voice of Kenya, before transitioning to television.
