Eldoret: LGBTQ activist Edwin Chiloba killed, body stuffed in metallic box

Police in Uasin Gishu County have launched investigations after a man whose lifeless body was found stuffed inside a metallic box along a road in Kapsaret area was identified as LGBTQ activist Ediwn Chiloba.

It is reported that a bodaboda rider in the area saw a vehicle - whose registration number was concealed - dump the box along the Kipenyo-Katinga Road, before alerting police officers who were manning a road block nearby.

Upon opening the box, the police officers found the man's decomposing body, he was dressed in a woman's clothes. They took the body to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital for post-mortem, to ascertain the cause of death.
