Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has protested over the “forced burial” of his nephew Brian Khalwale in the United States.

The late Brian died on November 10, 2022 in a road accident.

Writing on social media, Senator Khalwale says the burial went ahead “despite our fierce objection.”

It was allegedly carried out at the behest of late Brian’s mother who, Khalwale claims, “capitalised on his death, got a visa, and travelled, hopping to immigrate to the US.”

Brian was the son of Senator Khalwale’s late brother Captain Gaeb Ashiono Khalwale. He died at 37 when his car crashed and burst into flames along Federal Way in Washington.
