Raila makes changes to Azimio itinerary ahead of Monday's mass action

The Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition has made changes to its itinerary this week, ahead of the Monday, March 20 mass action against Kenya Kwanza Government in Nairobi.

On Thursday, March 16, the opposition coalition will have a public baraza in Nakuru County, before proceeding to Kiambu County on Friday, March 17.

These changes come amidst the unlawful declaration of March 20 as a public holiday by Azimio leader Raila Odinga.

Speaking during a rally in Siaya on Tuesday, Raila said that this will allow Azimio supporters from all over the country to travel to Nairobi and participate in the mass action.

"I hereby now declare today in the name of Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance Coalition that Monday the 20th of March will be a public holiday," Raila said amidst cheers from the crowd.
