List: Areas experiencing power outages due to the rains

Hours after listing areas that would experience power outages as part of their scheduled maintenance, Kenya Power has released a new list of places experiencing loss of power due to the intermittent rains.

"Good morning, kindly note the areas currently off due to Intermittent rainfall experienced. Inconveniences are regretted," Kenya Power said in a statement on Thursday morning.

Affected Areas

1. Plot 10 -Villa Franca Main Line-affected areas: Imara Daima, Villa Franca Estate, Mukuru, Goodlife apartments, St. Bakita, AA of Kenya Reinforcement and environs. Restoration underway

2. Ngong Vet- Ngong Town Main line-affected areas: Ngong, Kerarapon, Kanagawa rd, Olepolos, Bulbul &environs. Supply restoration in progress.

3. Kitengela - Epz Main line -affected areas: Athi River, Kitengela town, Kajiado, Old Namanga rd, Kaputilei, Jokawa est, Sinkeet farm, Naivas Kitengela and environs.Restoration in progress.

4. Kamiti Rd - Kiu River main line is off: affected areas: Kirigiti, Kiu River, Kahawa Surari and environs. Supply restoration in progress.

5. Kagwe - Githunguri main line-affected areas: Githunguri town, Kaburu, Githiga, Ikinu and environs.Restoration underway.

6. Juja Rd - Huruma main line-affected areas: Moi Airbase, Mathare, Juja rd, 6th Street Eastleigh, Malewa Rd and environs.Restoration underway.

7. Sietco - Ruaraka main line-affected areas: Zimmerman, Githurai 44, Imani Dispensary, Apostolic Church & environs Supply restoration in progress.

8. Nyaga - Ruiru main line-affected areas: Kamiti house, Kihunguini, Kagera village and environs .Supply restoration in progress.

9. Illpolosat - Konza main line-affected areas: Konza area and immediate adjacent area. Supply restoration in progress.

10. Mihango Ex Komarocks main line-affected areas:Komarock, Kayole Market, Mihango. part of Saika and the environs.Restoration underway.
