Full list of Ruto's CASs: Omanga, Mwaura, Kidero and Itumbi among them

President William Ruto on Thursday, March 16 finally nominated persons who will fill the Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) positions in various ministries, to conclude the formation of his Executive. 

As expected, the list of CASs has been dominated by Kenya Kwanza Alliance politicians who lost in their bid for various elective seats during the August 2022 General Election.

Other beneficiaries are politicians who ditched Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition immediately after President Ruto was declared winner of last year's presidential election.

Among those who have been nominated to CAS positions include Millicent Omanga, Benjamin Washiali, Chris Wamalwa, Charles Njagua aka Jaguar, Fredrick Outa, and Evans Kidero.

These names will now be forwarded to the National Assembly for consideration and approval as dictated under the Public Appointments (Parliamentary Approval) Act.
