Popular musician Karangu Muraya under fire for launching paybill to support Jeff Mwathi's case
- "I have seen the same people calling me names. There's no problem. What goes around comes around," Muraya said after sharing the paybill number.

Popular Kikuyu artist Karangu Muraya reveals he has been on the receiving end of online trolls after launching a paybill number to support the #justiceforjeff cause.
"I think this issue of Jeff some people are using it to fight others....last week I posted here on my wall after talking with mama Jeff and I requested the well-wishers that if you are supporting the course, we should also support mama Jeff financially," Muraya said on Friday.
He claimed more than one million people insulted him over the idea although he remained silent.
Former Kiambu Member of County Assembly Mercy Nungari, who has been collaborating with the artist on some needy causes, reportedly urged him to share the paybill number on Friday.
"I have seen the same people calling me names. There's no problem. What goes around comes around," Muraya said.
This comes amid revelations from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) that 23-year-old Jeff Mwathi was murdered at DJ Fatxo's Kasarani home.
Homicide detectives based at the Headquarters completed the first phase of investigations, which included visiting the crime scene and collecting samples for forensic examination.
The sleuths indicated that there could have been a struggle between the deceased and his possible killers before he was thrown off the building on February 22.
DCI said the second phase of investigations will entail interrogating persons of interest in the case including; DJ Fatxo and his guests.
